Abstract
Objective : The purpose of this study that fluidotherapy is effective in reducing edema in upper extremity edema of hemiplegia patients.

Methods : The subjects of this study were patients with left hemiplegia due to stroke and performed fluidotherapy for 20 minutes once a day for 3 weeks from November 5, 2018 to November 23 of the same year. The research design uses AB design among individual experimental research methods(single-subject experimental research design) and has conducted 16 times (1 times of basic course, 15 times of intervention). The measurement was done by using the same method ring measurement every week after the start of treatment.

Results : Jeweler's ring measurement results showed that the circumference of the forearm was 19cm, the metacarpus was 23cm, and the index finger was 8.5cm, respectively, in the baseline line, three weeks later, 18.4 centimeters, 22 centimeters, and 6.7 centimeters, respectively, marked the change in circumference.

Conclusion : Fluidotherapy used for the treatment of upper extremity edema in hemiplegia patients had a positive effect on the reduction of edema.
